Hop Step ART! is a small English art club where children naturally become familiar with the sounds and rhythms of English language through the practice of art.
In a quiet studio in Karuizawa,
children draw, make, and expand their imaginative worlds.
Language is not something to memorize, but something that gently supports expression and creativity.
For children of all ages
who prefer to focus at their own pace in a calm, uncluttered environment, we value quiet time, openness, and space to create.

About the Artist
The person who created this atelier
From an early age, drawing and the world of stories were always close to me.
Rather than searching for predetermined answers,
I grew up in a place where the feeling of “this is what I want to do” was gently respected.
The time spent in that environment has become the foundation of what I do today. I believe in giving children the space to trust their own senses and to engage quietly with their own expression.
The Atelier

In a bright, open studio filled with natural light,
children gather around a large table and create freely and comfortably.
Located just a five-minute walk from Naka-Karuizawa Station,
our studio is set within Lulu Grass, a plant shop surrounded by greenery. In this calm, nature-filled space, we offer children time for creativity to grow and unfold.
